rylee at one month family portrait

Here are Rylee, Ryan and I at about Rylee's one month b'day. Ryan's parents were in town this week to meet Rylee and to help take care of Ryan after his surgery (hiatus hernia) and they were able to take a family portrait! Ryan is doing well...recovering well. Only problem is that he can't have any solid foods for at least a week. :(

Rylee is doing well...she continues to eat, potty, and sleep lots. :) She is enjoying her swing (from Schottelkorb great grandparents) and mostly enjoys being held by mom and dad.

rylee's first real bath!

Ryan and I gave Rylee her first real bath...since her umbilical cord stump fell off we could give her a real one...where we immerse her in the water! She liked it...she didn't cry at all! The bathtub is from aunt Missy. It looks like Rylee might be a bath girl like her mom, Mima, and aunt Missy! :)

I like this photo a lot cause you see Roscoe peering in to see Rylee getting her bath! So cute!

I am a mom!

I am finally setting up a blog...never done it before, but since becoming a mom and not having any family that lives here in Boise, I thought it might be fun to do! Rylee is two weeks, two days today and time is flying by. My life revolves completely around Rylee and her needs...very different than before Rylee was here! So basically I am living my life in 2-3 hour blocks...around her feeding schedule.

Right now Rylee is sleeping so I am actually able to set this up! So I thought it appropriate to attach a pic of Rylee sleeping. :)
